Cerner Approves $300M Common Stock Buyback Plan
Cerner’s board of directors approves the repurchase of up to 5.7 million shares, or 1.7 percent of the company’s outstanding shares, at a cost of up to $300 million. No time limit was set for the completion of the buyback plan.

As rumored on HIStalk this weekend, Aetna has laid off an undisclosed number of employees from iTriage and merged the business unit with WellMatch, an Aetna business focused on cost transparency.
Nothing about (Veterans Administration) T4NG awards? Seems 21 companies are going to have a role in VA (perhaps even including national healthcare) technology that must be important to someone, judging from the expected $22B spend over the next 10 years.
Only 21 companies… they must be freakishly capable since everyone that takes themselves seriously would have submitted responses. Award non-winners winners must feel awful – but I don’t particularly know anything about that.
