So proud of the VA and their ability to break a Cerner implementation. Cerner thought they could just steamroll the VA, and Cerner has not yet learned their lesson. They will flail in the VA pond for a bit longer, before they drown or they are fished out and thrown away. Billions of dollars spent. Only 1 partial implementation in the entire US, years later. Plans for #2 are already on ice. Classic. Love it. Just goes to show you. VISTA, doctor built EHR, will ALWAYS beat the commercial billing centric Cerner or any EHR for that matter. The financial plug will be pulled, with in 3 years I predict. Cerner will quit or get fired.
