Epic CEO Judy Faulkner says the company won’t pursue incorporating COVID-19 tracking and tracing into its software based on consumer privacy concerns.
Re: Judy’s CNBC interview. If I got a penny for every time Judy Faulkner attributed a feature of Epic (real like MyChart or imagined like interop) to herself or her conversations with her husband, I’d be a very rich man today indeed.
BTW, has anyone else noticed that for a self-proclaimed publicity shy CEO, how many interviews has she done recently? And has anyone else also noticed, how little credit she gives to other leaders (by name) in her organization regarding Epic’s progress over the years? Her interviews sound awfully like Donald Trump’s (me, my ideas, my ideas from my conversations with my family and so on and so forth). And some of her stories sound like Trump’s “sir” stories (like the one with that gentleman about the spiral binder)!
I think it’s just because deep down she’s an awkward 70 something trying to be relatable.
