  1. Ref “Data Payday”

I questioned the Citi analyst who put the piece together. It sounds like regurgitated lines thrown out by Allscripts leadership at one of their corporate investor meetings. . The stock performance is accurate or very close.

Allscripts has been bleeding clients over the past 6-7 years. So the client base the writer references is shrinking daily. Their hosted client base was shrinking even before their colossal ransomeware issue. The purchase of practice fusion was to mask large client attrition. To this day I am not sure what the official number was of actual clients. It is far, far less then what they originally stated and collectively no data of any size to profit.

The article also mentions by renaming its payer and life science Allscripts has opened doors and immediately rolls it into a NEXTGEN win.

Allscripts historically kicks the can down the street using “long term agreements” offering give way prices in exchange to look relevant. They struggle to catch up.

The 2bPrecise, is outdated data, the main reason Allscripts offered free DNA analysis to their employees was to obtain current data. Only a handful of clients ( maybe 4 ) have been given the product.

Blacks over used catch phrase is beginning to make the industry skin crawl.

“We have positioned Allscripts with the most robust and diversified solutions portfolio in the industry,”
