Epic Systems draws on literature greats for its next expansion
Epic unveils the designs for five new buildings it will construct on its increasingly cramped Verona, WI campus, adding 500,000 square feet and 1,600 offices. The new building designs were inspired by children’s literature classics, like “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “The Wizard of Oz..”

Imagine what the costs are going to be for those new Epic buildings… your money at work!
You would be surprised just how relatively inexpensive Epic’s buildings are when compared to their overall spending. Judy also holds to the belief that Epic is actually making money off these buildings because of the increased staff morale and creativity.
At least Epic doesn’t lobby the WI state government to subsidize its expansions like some other well known healthcare IT companies do.
As someone who has worked at Epic, I can tell you the buildings do little for morale
