    There’s gold in them thar hills. Interestingly aggressive efforts to take part in the 18% of GNP comprised by health care, and expand it to 25%, which is what these HIT “innovations” will accomplish under the guise of reducing health care costs.

    Has any one ever heard of a private/public/government programme that becomes financially more efficient?

    Even the wage and price freeze guided by CMS, in which doctors are paid so little that they can not find MDs to care for the Medicaid patients, will run up the overall costs…and Obamacare, fuhgetabout it, because the $billions being spent on the programme, its HIT and regular IT, and the consultants will never be recouped.
