The Illustra solution appears to be a model wherein the Illustra staff map or translate your data into their algorithms. That has been done before, badly. I always felt that it could be done, if you could analyze the source data and correct the errors in that data but I rarely find organizations interested in doing so.
If the data are single solution, (Epic) then that would reduce one level of data failure causality, but there is still the organizational configuration, clinician usage, and insurance/regulatory causalities to consider.
It’s been 10 years since I watched a Population Health train wreck and I haven’t seen anything that came close from a multiple system input solution.
