If everything goes well (HUGE IF) in the restart, they will find themselves 10 years into the Cerner contract, at roughly the 10% mark of installing an already-obsolete legacy EHR over their existing comparably-obsolete homegrown EHR.
I don’t know what’s worse, the delusions of grandeur or the prideful twice-annual proclamations from Cerner (and now Oracle) that “our veterans deserve the best.” It’s galling.
