Xerox to acquire Affiliated Computer Services

Xerox announces plans to buy ACS for in a $6.4 billion cash-and-stock deal. The deal is worth $63.11 per share, which is a 34% premium over Friday’s closing price.

  1. Looks like the greatest synergy is around document management the technology (software and hardware) that Xerox brings and the BPO of documents were ACS is strong. Wonder where the Healthcare ITO people will play and those left from the Superior Consultant acquistion? Will the other service and product offerings developed by ACS State Government have longevity?
