  1. Yeah Andy,
Replace MU with something better, huh? Like Stage 3 MU was supposed to be better than Stage 2, you were selling that just 2 months ago starting in 2018? Hate to break it to CMS but they lost all credibility with the tsunami of regulatory activity on physicians. Unless its you are going to leave us alone, completely, then I am betting its going to be an even WORSE program than the already dead MU. CMS needs to understand that this CONSTANT program changes and disruption puts a terrible strain and stress on already disenfranchised physicians. And you describing is as a regime change seems appropriate as I am betting its 10x worse than the current disaster.
Also, to tweetstorm that Meaningful Use is dead just a few months after touting how great MU Stage 3 is going to be in 2018, seems very abrupt and odd. What exactly happened, Andy? This is a very unusual method to let providers know that relief is coming, via Twitter. Are there policies already set for this? What exactly happened that changed your love of MU two months ago to suddenly its dead this year. Did you actually visit a front line physician and see the ridiculousness of the MU program? Are providers fleeing medicare? Are providers retiring at a higher rate? Is the triple aim failing on all fronts? Higher costs, more unsafe, and less satisfaction? I highly doubt you are actually listening to the overburdened and burned out front line providers, my guess its something else. Please clarify.
