In England, Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headsets are being piloted by the NHS to help patients with mental health disorders learn to cope with environmental stressors. Using VR, researchers are immersing patients in everyday scenarios, such as riding the subway or the bus, in hopes of triggering controlled emotional responses that can then be analyzed.

  1. Was sad to see Steve facilitate (and heavily coach and coax) a gripe session by doctors who were frustrated with their “eclectronical” medical records. Also the doc who was sick and tired of asking about smoking “sensation”.

    Pretty lame session overall and a pretty big stretch to use these examples to characterize an industry.

    He hurts his own reputation by doing this. Can’t seriously respect him after watching this.
