The acquisition will expand Vitera’s user base to 10,500 organizations, 415,000 medical professionals, and 85,000 physicians and will increase its customer base of Community Health Centers.

Vitera has invested $25 million in product development and customer support enhancement in the past 18 months and introduced four new products, including Vitera Intergy Mobile and the Vitera Stat PM/EHR package for small practices.

  1. Vitera making a move as a player in physician market. As they do they will inevitably face similar challenges Allscripts and others faced – can they integrate?

  2. SuccessEHS is a pretty nice product from what I have seen in some demos. Pretty much an acknowledgement that Intergy just isn’t a competitive product in the EMR market place and I would put money is headed to maintenance-only sometime in the near future with the inevitable lawsuits that will come with it.

  3. If you currently work for SuccessEHS, start looking for new opportunities now. Otherwise, you will be laid off in the next six months. That’s a promise. Major changes are coming your way from a new owner that has little business expanding its own operations and spreading its dysfunctional disease.

  4. No, a pretty truthful thing to say. Those who work(ed) for Vitera know what they are talking about. Just ask those who have been let go because they want everyone in Tampa.

Oh, and this move will “expand Vitera’s user base to 10,500 organizations”. Didn’t they have 12,000 clients when they bought the business?

  5. This is sad to see. As a staunch supporter of Sandy, Adele, and the entire SuccessEhS staff this is a let down. Sandy told me he would always stay a private company and never forget about who his company is there for. Sad to see this

  6. As a current employee I was fortunate to keep my job, but for how long? We have no idea of what to expect. I would think having the separate emr softwares available some more cuts are on the way
