  1. This is very sad to me. API has been one of the shining beacons in the murky waters of vendor management. They consistently have said what they would do and done what they said. Luis Garcia has been a great hands-on ally for us and a true business partner. Let’s just hope Francisco Partners II, LP do not screw it up!

  2. I have to agree 100% with Dave. Both surprising and sad. My biggest concern is what happens with the excellent personal support we have now? API is ‘top notch’ in vendor support. Very, very fiew match up to their caliber of support.

  3. Fret not – at least Francisco Partners was smart enough to go out and get J.P. Fingado. I know JP personally and retaining good people and treating them well is something he’s known for. If he makes a promise, he’ll keep it. He takes care of his clients.

  4. I am truly impressed. Once again API comes through with the true image of excellent service. I recieved numerous calls from API staff assuring me that nothing has changed with the exception of ownership. Staff remain responsive and they have done an excellent job explaining that service will still be what it always has been.

  5. I have to admit that i was concerned at first. However, after getting personal phone calls from multiple leaders at API, my concerns have diminished as well.

One thing that always set API apart was their attention to customer needs and action when it was necessary. I have received assurances from JP that this will continue. Very relieved.
