It is super exciting to see Jupiter Med Center adopt IBM Watson. I expect to see quantifiable improvements to outcomes, patient satisfaction, physician productivity, and reduction in cost (and commensurate increase in profitability) at Jupiter in about a year or so. Hopefully, the press release before HIMSS 2018 will focus on those great strides made in cancer care at Jupiter, thanks to IBM Watson trained at MSK. We shouldn’t expect anything less from a “revolutionary” system like Watson.
