  1. Sad. In Karen De Salvo’s response to the Boston paper for highlighting the problems with EHR, she cited a “a proposed plan that would include the creation of a health IT safety center, which would assist in the voluntary reporting of health IT-related medical errors.”

    Really? The billions haven’t been enough to get it done right huh? What would lead anyone to believe that more would make a difference?

  2. @Karen_DeSalvo I am not aware of any evidence that EHRs have improved outcomes or reduced costs. And that does not include the $billions being spent on the devices and the consultants. Where is the beef, Karen?
