Caveman...I am with you on that bet.

Kind of interested in seeing how all of Hammergren's changes play out. Fresh set of eyes with from all I have read a great track record of success & improvement.

Is it just my imagination or does this guy look like the jerk football or lacrosse player who drove the Beemer convertible and was also the president of his ΔΚΕ chapter that all the dorm rats and regular guys on campus hated? Think Doug Neidermeyer in Animal House. His ΔΚΕ sweetheart would have probably been named Pamela Pure.

While I'm ranting I might as well let it all out.

Anyone want to wager Epic doesn't close another $100 million + sale for the next two years?

Is it just me or does this guy have a head shaped like a block?

Skeptical Says:

I wonder what the track record is for non-HIS execs in running HIS companies.

Doesn't matter anymore. Healthcare IT has come down to market share and marketing (hype). Own a big slice and protect it with a moat around the castle.

The writing is on the wall with this announcement. Putting a non-HIS executive to run MPT and catch up to Epic thru innovation, says one thing. It is only a matter of time until McK sells the division.
