However, it may be important for whoever runs CCHIT to understand software development cycles (as Mark does, having run MedicaLogic). And while Steve does represent 300+ corporate members, many of whom are EHR suppliers, he also represents 25,000 individual members, many of whom are buyers and users of same. My understanding of the contracts is they came in over $10M more than the other vendors in the initial upfront cost. Good to point out the longterm costs...
