Thanks for bringing our attention to the typo in the title of our press release. HIPAA was used correctly in the body but misspelled in the headline. We regret the error and hope you will note that it is correct on our website and on CellTrust's web site.

Re: Natividad and the extension pricing. A couple of things come to mind (I do this for a living too): 1. The initial job was underbid as either the consulting firm or the client (or both) didn't understand the depth of the problem; Despite the pain of paying the money to the consulting/interim firm, the client can't face making the needed changes to attract a strong candidate pool; The interim firm doesn't really want the job and is pricing high to gracefully exit the situation (although around $2500 per day is pretty routine these days).

Re: 1450 brings up a free online tool that helps physicians choose the most appropriate version of Dragon Medical for their practices.
Nuance new release 10.0 restricts the use of their Preferred version so it cannot be used in an EMR. Blatant attempt to force use of the Professional version whether necessary or not. Greedy, greedy, greedy!

Mr. H. Thunder

You can steal my "thunder' anytime! On a more serious note, the NPfIT folks now calling themselves Connecting for Health in the UK worked with Microsoft's UK development professionals to guide the design of the clinicals for the CUI, so what you see is what actually happens in the daily activities of the UK's hospitals.
