So in ot6her words Misys and Imedica will be selling the same product, wow! Won’t Misys crush Imedica then? They will be able to offer more updates, enhancements, etc.

Phil, you are forgetting the $13M that Misys already paid for iMedica on the first go round. Since Misys has already proven that they can’t develop products, maybe Allscripts can have better luck with it?

Allscripts and Misys get a current .net version of iMedica for $12 Million Dollars… That’s a sweet deal. You have one day to get in on the pre-merger dividend.

I worked with iMedica for a short time. The product I saw was pretty good — but in needed of further development. But, in comparison to what Misys called a product iMedica was already in the next universe. It can only be a good, good thing for iMedica. Never could figure out why they thought that Misys had anything to bring to the table.
