RE: PHNS names Dan Allison, formerly of EDS, as CEO.
Why is an IT Executive taking over what is essentially an HIM outsourcing company? I think they would want someone with coding credentials. Only about 20 of their 400 hospitals have outsourced IT to PHNS (4 systems – all owners of PHNS).

Rumor has it that Century City Hospital filed for Bankruptcy. A source tells employees went to work last Friday, they were told they are being sent home, hospital will be closing and that they will be sent home with no pay.

C-PAHC? Sheesh, another quasi-official sounding group from the folks at TEPR.

Let’s face it, it’s just another scam to get people to attend their conferences and webinars and put $$ in their pockets. I’d have some respect for them if they were more upfront about their business.

On the other hand, I guess they need something to bring in some bank now that TEPR is in the toilet.
