Re: Covington…last I saw him he was 39 years old and based on the Press Release pic he hasn’t aged a day!

Re: KLASS & Epic Rx…Can somebody explain this? Per KLASS rules you are supposed to have 15 installations up and running in order to get rated. Otherwise you get the infamous asterisk. I know for a fact that Epic does NOT have 15 Rx installs. Heck the thing just came out of beta in Milw. Now I am sure there are more than 15 contracts they signed…but not installs. So Mr. KLASS how do you get rated number one without the magic 15??

Re: Wall Street article – so why is anybody surprised? Hospitals making money and CEOs getting paid enormous salaries. Just like a ‘real’ business. How many times have we heard ‘hospitals should be run more like businesses’…well be careful what you wish for.

Demonurse - the Intermountain Genie will grant three wishes - one a new clinical system that works for GE to resell, two integration of all the best of breed supporting systems they bought, and three that Epic will make a major mis-step. The comment is really about wish #1 but I thought I'd help them out if they need the hand.

5,000 attendees at TEPR??

Please, they haven't had that many people attending in a decade. In 2006 TEPR told prospective exhibitors there would be between 3,500 and 4,000 paid attendees, and there were about 2,000, tops. 2007 was about the same.

Management at MRI is doing everything they can to inflate their numbers because HIMSS is kicking their ass. I spoke with a couple of major ambulatory EMR vendors at HIMSS who told me that 07 might be their last year at TEPR.

There's a reason that MRI is down to one salesperson, and it's not because he's really good at his job.

Okay, I admit I'm dense. Can someone explain the'Intermountain genie and GE LastWord Clinicals reference in the Raymond James' KLAS review?

Thanks for enlightening me about ISH Med as I was unaware of their capabilities until now. I know how powerful SAP can be so maybe we'll see more of their roll out successes in North America soon. TPD!
